When you take your Smile Journey with us, you are automatically enrolled in our Lifetime Smile program. As a program member, you receive your first set of retainers, along with your aligner set. Once your aligner treatment is complete and you have the smile, we designed for you, you will need to wear your retainers at nights, so your teeth maintain their position. As long as you continue to wear your Smile by Design retainers as instructed, we will guarantee your smile.

Program Benefits

• The Lifetime Smile program provides you with the convenience of getting your replacement retainers regularly, every 6 months with a 10% discount.

• In the event that your retainer is accidentally damaged or is lost, we will send you one FREE replacement in any 6-month period. Just pay for shipping and you will receive your replacement.

• If at any time while you are in the program, the shape or position of your teeth is altered for any reason, including:

o Dental treatment, such as fillings

o Accidental break or loss of a tooth

o Cosmetic alterations

your retainers may not fit as designed.

If such alteration occurs or;

If the retainer does not seat on your teeth fully and evenly for any other reason:

o Do not continue to wear your retainer.

We will arrange for you to provide us with new impressions. We will ask you to pay just for the new impressions and shipping, and you will remain in the Lifetime Smile program and enjoy all its benefits.

• You may cancel your membership at any time on a 30-day notice.

Retainer use and maintenance

Retainers are designed to last for 6 months under normal use and maintenance conditions. Retainers will fit if they are:

o Worn nightly.

o Cleaned and maintained as directed.

o Within their use period.

o Unaltered and undamaged.

AND

o Teeth are not altered by dental treatment, or for any other reason (intentionally or unintentionally).

If your retainer does not seat on your teeth fully and evenly for any other reason:

o Do not continue to wear your retainer, And

o let us know right away.

We will arrange for you to provide us with new impressions. We will ask you to pay just for the new impressions and shipping, and you will remain in the Lifetime Smile program and enjoy all its benefits.

Habitual jaw clenching or grinding shortens the lifetime of retainers. If you suffer or suspect that you are suffering from those conditions, you must inform us and obtain treatment accordingly.

Jurisdiction

Smile by Design is headquartered in the Province of Ontario, Canada. For the purpose of this agreement, all products and services purchased from Smile by Design shall be deemed to have been purchased in the Province on Ontario.

By consenting the policy, you are agreeing that the policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario. In the event of a dispute or challenge to the terms and conditions of this policy, you agree that said challenge shall be brought forward only the Province of Ontario.
